NSS Camp Concludes at BCM School, Chandigarh Road

The seven-day NSS Camp at BCM School, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana concluded with a cleanliness drive on the school campus. Principal Mr. D. P. Guleria, in his address during the closing ceremony, appreciated the volunteers for their dedication and urged them to carry forward the spirit of service in their daily lives. NSS Programme Officer Ms. Kavita Tomar highlighted the objectives and outcomes of the camp and encouraged students to remain socially responsible citizens.

During the concluding days, students participated in an Anti-Drug Awareness Rally in Sanjay Gandhi Colony and Sector 32 and conducted rallies and Nukkad Nataks on Save Environment and Reduce Pollution at the adopted village Kulliawal.

The camp featured several informative sessions by eminent resource persons, including a lecture on Adolescent Mental Health by Dr. Gajraj Yadav, a session on Consumer Rights by Dr. Gurmeet Singh (GCG, Ludhiana), and an E-Waste Management awareness talk by Ms. Surbhi, Project Manager, PAHAL NGO. Creative activities such as Face Painting, Cooking Without Fire, and a Sustainability-themed Fashion Show further reinforced messages of social and environmental awareness.

Daily yoga, meditation, and Hawan instilled discipline and inner balance among the volunteers. The camp concluded on a meaningful note, leaving students enriched with values of teamwork, awareness, and community service.
