Dear Parents,
Greetings! Welcome to the new academic Session.
Significant changes have been introduced by CBSE recently to improve quality of education and to bring in uniform system of assessment, examination and report card pattern across classes of CBSE affiliated schools all over the country. The primary change is the restoration of board examination for class X covering whole syllabus of the academic year. The board has also designed the schemes for classes VI-VIII on term assessment basis with gradual increase in the learning assessment in order to start preparing students for class X board examination.
To align the system of assessment, suitable changes have been made in the design, syllabus coverage and assessment pattern in primary classes (I-V) too. This will prepare students for smoother transition to upper primary classes (VI-VIII).
